Matt and Nat got married and they had a fairy tale wedding at Parc Historique Pointe-du-Moulin this past May!
In fact, the first thing I noticed when I walked into Nat’s family’s home was a pretty mirror hanging near the front door. On it was etched: “Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”
I couldn’t help but stare at this mirror and think, how fitting that this would be here. It just fit how Nat and Matt are together and also the type of wedding that they had- to date, it’s been the most romantic one that I’ve photographed.
The words I would use to describe all of the elements that made up their wedding would be romantic, elegant, and timeless. Nat wore a beautfiul princess-style dress and did her hair in soft curls. She also wore a Tiffany’s bracelet that her mom gave her, a delicate necklace with a single pearl, and small earrings.
They chose Parc Historique Pointe-du-Moulin as the venue for their ceremony as well as their reception, and it being in the woods added to the charm of the affair.
You’ll notice in the photos below that Mat, his family and groomsmen all went to Pointe-du-Moulin before Nat got there to set everything up, which I found to be a really special touch:).
About Nat and Matt
I really have to say something here about this couple. They are so clearly in love. Ok, we’ll assume that all my couples are extremely in love just for the sake of no one getting offended:).
But what’s really particular about these two is the way they made me feel when I was around them. They seem to bring out the best in each other but what I found extra special is that everytime I had an interaction with them, I mean from the very first moment we met, I felt good when I was next to them, and also after I left.
So let me just take the time to tell you Nat and Matt that you are one of my favorite couples! You two make me happy to be a wedding photographer. I’m so lucky to have been at your beautiful wedding!
