Hi loves! Happy Sunday! I’m so excited to post this holiday engagement session that I photographed a couple of weeks ago. I met Rosemin and Mike several months ago in Montreal. Originally, we had planned on doing their e-session in Montreal at a bar where a large part of their story took place. However, between them living in Toronto and my busy season of engagement sessions and weddings, we could never find a time to do these sessions.
Luckily, I got a contract in Toronto to teach photography seminars and so we decided to do their e-session there. I had never done any kind of photography in Toronto before then, so I was relying completely on Rosemin and Mike to find a pretty spot for these photos. They did not disappoint! The Distillery District was such a romantic and cozy place to take photos. Best of all, they were setting up the Christmas Market when we went so we got to take photos that have a very Christmassy vibe- perfect for how cold it was that day:).
I’m really loving the soft muted colors in these images, particularly the skin tones, Rosemin’s camel-colored jacket, and the greens from the pine trees.
Thanks for bringing me to such a pretty spot you two!
p.s. If you are a friend or family member of Rosemin and Mike, please leave a comment (In French or English ) and like my Facebook page if you find this lovely. If they get 50 likes and comments (combined), I will offer this beautiful couple a large (archival/museum quality), fine art print of their favorite photo. xx Cass:)
